Living pieces of other worlds merge with Earth. Streets, buildings and people stay where they were, within a landscape that no longer belongs to just one world.

It does not happen just once. The merging continues: inhabited territories fit into each other, and those who live there must learn to share a reality that keeps changing.

The story takes shape centuries after the first mergings, in a dystopia where magic is part of life. Our world is still recognisable, but its rules are no longer enough.
